At ProxyTracer, we build privacy-first security tools. This policy explains how we handle your data.

1. The API (Zero-Logs Guarantee)

Our core API evaluates IP addresses to detect proxies and VPNs. We process this data entirely in-memory. IP addresses sent to our API are evaluated and immediately discarded. We do not write them to disk, we do not store them in shadow databases, and we do not use them to track users across the internet.

2. Account Data We Collect

To provide our service to you (the developer), we collect:

• Account Information: Your email address and password for authentication.
• Billing Information: Processed securely by our payment provider Polar.sh. We do not store your full credit card details.
• Usage Metrics: We track the volume of API requests associated with your API key for billing and rate-limiting purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your account data strictly to:

• Provide, maintain, and secure your account.
• Process your payments.
• Send you essential transactional emails (e.g., password resets, billing alerts).

4. Data Sharing

We never sell your personal data. We only share data with essential third-party service providers (like payment processors or transactional email providers) strictly necessary to run our business.
